    Baby Boomers Leading the Gray Sex Revolution: Yeah Baby!

    Baby boomers continue to shock the socks off the rest of the World by producing an amazing sexual performance even in their middle and old age!  Psychological articles ask: what is it about them that they have this intense sexual relationship continuing well into their middle age and retirement years?

    The generations that preceded the baby boom did everything in a predictable fashion, producing their children and raising them to be modest and fearful of convention.  Along came baby boomers and blew convention sky high with their sexual revolution of the fifties and sixties, flying in the face of tradition and daring to expound free love and dispense with any moral code that seemed to them to be a waste of time.

    Now here they are in the ‘noughties’, blatantly inventing gray sex and showing everyone how great it is to hang up the walking stick and be sexually active whenever the mood takes them!

    The boomer mind set is such that they basically do whatever they feel like doing whenever they feel like doing it.  This is the seed that grew a generation of activists and free love advocates back in the good old days.

    They are certainly a generation of individuals and have no compunction about nailing their sexuality to the mast and declaring war on the aches and pains and associated creaks of old age with a resolve that says: ‘There might be snow on the roof but there’s nothing wrong with the boiler in the cellar’ – or words to that effect.

    One of the main attributes of baby boomers is their endless ability to be intelligently resourceful and this is what keeps their sexual interests bubbling well into old age. They will follow any lead that promises to get them what they want and when elderly problems get in the way of their sexual gratification, they find ways to get around difficulties rather than take the path of acceptance and settle for celibate comfort. Their first question on discovering a sexual difficulty is: how do I fix it? – Never: how do I live with it?

    Psychological articles observe that the gray sex revolution continues to puzzle and fascinate psychologists everywhere, as elderly baby boomers of sixty; seventy and eighty consistently outdo every other generation in the bedroom and cheerfully refuse to be suppressed by age, infirmity or convention. Yeah baby!
